New Delhi: Three MPs of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Sanjay Singh, Sushil Kumar Gupta and ND Tiwari were allegedly making a huge furore in the Rajya Sabha on the issue of farmers. They were expelled for the day on Wednesday.

Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu tried to discuss the President’s address after the Zero Hour, then AAP’s Sanjay Singh, Sushil Kumar Gupta, and N.D. Gupta stood on their seats and started shouting slogans. They raised slogans of ‘repeal farm laws’.

Mr Naidu said that during the discussion on the address, it has been agreed to debate the farmers’ issue. In such a situation, it is unfair for these members to disrupt the proceedings of the House. These people do not really want to discuss the issue of farmers.

M. Venkaiah Naidu requested the three members to calm down and let the proceedings of the House go on, but on this, the three MPs continued to raise slogans.

After this, the Chairman warned the three MPs to be excluded from the proceedings of the House under Rule 255 but the members had no effect and continued to raise slogans.

To this, the Chairman said that these three members are being excluded from the proceedings of the House for the day and ordered the three members to leave the House for the day and adjourned the House for five minutes at 9:30.
