Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced compensation of ₹10 lakh for each family of the 11 victims who lost their lives in a fire at a paint factory in Alipur.
During his visit to the site, he assured support for those affected, including ₹20,000 for minor injuries and ₹2 lakh for major injuries. Kejriwal promised compensation for damages to nearby shops and houses as per government policy.
He pledged an inquiry into allegations of delayed fire brigade response and vowed action against those responsible. The fire, followed by an explosion, claimed 11 lives and left four injured, currently receiving treatment in hospitals.
