UP: 200 EVMs claimed swopped by BJP caught red-handed, case registered

IndiaUP: 200 EVMs claimed swopped by BJP caught red-handed, case registered

In UP, Maharajganj, some independent journalists reveal around 200 EVMs were exchanged and BJP leaders are involved, EC registered a case.

A video making viral spins on social media Twitter reveals that 200 EVMs were exchanged in Uttar Pradesh, in the vicinity of Maharajganj, and shockingly, top BJP leaders’ names are mentioned apparently involved in the alleged nefarious transaction.  A BJP leader, former Sadar Block Chief of Maharajganj, Narendra Kharwar. from Maharajganj, is seen openly boasting in the video of how over 200 EVMs were exchanged.

It is surmised that such a huge shady endeavor could not be possible without big hands in play, including the police and other leaders in authorities.  Top BJP leader, Pankaj Choudhary from Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh name is mentioned by Narendra Kharwar as he laughingly announces how they managed to exchange 200 EVMs in Maharajganj.

The Election Commission department realizing that they could not ignore such a big matter spoke on a video communicating that a video is going viral on social media where he says an individual is making a very serious claim that 200 EVMs in Maharajganj were exchanged.  Due to the seriousness of the allegation, the Election Commission stated they have registered a complaint and will take the case forward accordingly.

Editor of news outlet, Manish Pandey shared on Twitter: The artist in the video presented is the former Sadar Block chief of Maharajganj, the name is Narendra Kharwar. He is recognized as a family friend of Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Choudhary. It is said in the video that 200 EVMs have been changed in the election. Taking cognizance of the video against them, the Election Commission has registered a case.

The video reveals how 200 EVMs were being swopped by BJP in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, caught redhanded.

If this is proved in the investigation, then the election should be conducted again, rightfully and personally, EVMs should be removed and paper ballots used due to the level of corruption going on.

Last year, during the Assam elections, EC suspended  4 poll workers for ferrying EVMs in a  BJP neta’s car.

In the 2019 elections, there were apparently peculiar EVM movements of their travel with allegations from Opposition parties that the EVMs were being switched while the Election Commission dismissed allegations. In fact, viral videos were shared of how EVMs were suspiciously being transported all over the country and many videos also showed how EVMs travel from strong room to poll booth and back.

By rule, once sealed, the strong room cannot be opened until the morning of counting day. If the strong room has to open before that for an inevitable reason, it can only be done in the presence of the candidate or a representative, who will be allowed to put their seals or locks again after the room is closed.  These bizarre movements of the EVMs in 2019 was denied by the Election Commissioner, so nothing could be done.

Heavy cheating and discrepancies in the voter-verifiable paper audit trail (VVPAT) are being reported as well.  The mood in Uttar Pradesh is changing, gloomy, and dissatisfied with the present government, and residents in Varanasi are openly expressing that they do not want religious divisions and fights, want peace and unity, education, jobs, and prices to drop.

The results of the elections will be out on March 10th, a result that would declare the fate of the nation, which is why this is a very important election.
