Delhi Police succeeded in arresting Deep Sidhu, the key accused of hoisting the flag in the Red Fort during the tractor rally on the occasion of Republic Day
New Delhi: A special cell team of Delhi Police arrested Deep Sidhu, a key accused of waving the flag at the Red Fort during a tractor rally on the occasion of Republic Day.
A senior Special Cell official said on Tuesday that the Southwest Range team had succeeded in arresting the accused Deep Sidhu, who was absconding since 26 January. Delhi Police had also announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for Deep Sidhu’s arrest.
It is worth mentioning that on 26 January, Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu’s name came to the fore behind the incident of violence during the farmers’ tractor rally and flag hoisting at the Red Fort.
