Rahul Gandhi said “For Modi Govt: Dissenting students are anti-nationals. Concerned citizens are urban naxals. Migrant labourers are Covid carriers. Rape victims are nobody. Protesting farmers are Khalistani. And Crony capitalists are best friends.”

New Delhi: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi today accused the government of ignoring the farmers’ agitation, saying that it values the interests of its capitalist friends rather than solving the problems of the common people.

Mr. Gandhi said that whatever section of society opposes government policies, instead of addressing their concerns, the government tries to suppress their voice by calling them traitors, Naxalites, Covid carriers, or Khalistani.

Mr. Gandhi said in a Tweet that students protesting against the Modi government are anti-national; citizens concerned about their problems are urban Naxals; migrant laborers are carriers of the Covid epidemic; victims of rape are nothing.

He said, “For Modi Govt: Dissenting students are anti-nationals. Concerned citizens are urban naxals. Migrant labourers are Covid carriers. Rape victims are nobody. Protesting farmers are Khalistani. And Crony capitalists are best friends.”
