“Whoever touches the cow will be beheaded” says cow vigilante

“Whoever touches the cow will be beheaded”, threatens a speaker at the Mewat Mahapanchayat meeting in Haryana arranged by cow vigilantes.

The cow vigilantes sat entranced by the raging speaker who openly spewed out death threats amid police presence against anyone who killed a cow. Amid the cries of Jai Sri Ram and BJP ki jai, he screamed out genocidal calls such as anyone who laid a hand on a cow will be removed away from his family.

He swore that from now on, “We will not allow our Mother Cow to be hurt or killed anymore and we will behead anyone who does.”  His declaration was met with the cheers of Jai Sri Ram.  He issued a warning to local MLAs who would try to obstruct them from their mission or spoke against them.

Unfortunately, no one took action against his call for genocide.  It is noted that even if someone is locked up in jail, they are out on bail. When citizens try to make petitions to ban cow vigilantes such as actor Swarna Bhaskar, they are trolled heavily and no one pays heed.

There are absolutely no politicians in India who have pushed for laws to ban the violent cow vigilantes who are killing people with impunity.  Remember the KKK and how the Prime Minister and members of the Republicans and Congress worked hard to stop a diabolic movement. Any movement that calls for death should never be romanticized.

Speaking against the cow vigilantes is not just enough as it is alarmingly accelerating and emboldened due to the approving politicians verified by their silence.  The deepest issue in India is not even the economy, it is genocide. Is anyone awake?  India as citizens are saying is moving towards mob rule amid silent authorities.

As per a report by Human Rights Watch, at least 44 people in the country were killed since 2014
