Priyanka Gandhi spoke to huge crowds at the Varanasi Nnay Kissan rally in a stirring speech to lakhs of people.
At the venue in the historic Kisan Nyay Rally in PM Modi’s constituency, there were lakhs of people, public, farmer supporters and only about 20% of Congress supporters gathered to listen to Priyanka Gandhi, which sets a positive message for the crowds. The air is electrifying and it is said all the hotels in Varanasi are literally full.
This rally is envisioned to change all the pre-poll dynamics to establish Priyanka Gandhi as the chief opposition leader in Uttar Pradesh. In fact, every poll being conducted by journalists to disapprove of Congress ends up with the party winning, be it as Prime Minestral candidacy of Rahul versus Mamata and others or state politics and clearly, the Grand Old Party is resonating with a new fervor.
The recent online poll shows Priyanka Gandhi leading the poll as a chief candidate set up against Yogi whereas Media were pushing for other leaders and originally did not even mention her name as a candidate.

Congress workers say that, unlike other party’s rallies, nobody is sponsoring the crowd and they gathered spontaneously.
It is believed that if Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi had not marched to Lakhimpur Kheri, the Media would have buried the news and Ashish Misra would never have been arrested and it is the sheer tenacity of their fight which garnered attention, raised a force, and pushed the UP government to arrest Ashish Mishra, which was originally delayed despite video evidence and witnesses saying he did it.
Priyanka Gandhi said with reference to the Lakhimpur Kheri Violence with the brutal mowing down of farmers, “Will fight till Union MoS resigns…nobody can stop us.”
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha, which is spearheading the farmers’ agitation, demanded MoS Mishra’s arrest as well on charges of spreading disharmony, and murder, and conspiracy.
Below are videos shared of the dynamic event in Varanasi, which the Media did not cover.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra accused the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister of “shielding” the Union Minister of State and his son — accused of mowing down the farmers at Lakhimpur on October 3, and on Sunday on addressing ‘Kisan Nyay’ rally in Varanasi, Priyanka Gandhi vowed to fight till Union MoS Ajay Mishra resign, and said: “Nobody can stop us.”
It is said that the second FIR reported that protesters attacked BJP workers with no mention of farmers’ killing.
Priyanka Gandhi said, “Last week, the son of Union MoS (Home) mowed down six farmers with his vehicle. Families of all the victims said they want justice but all of you have seen is that the government is shielding the minister and his son? Have you seen in any country that a person who mowed down six people is being ‘invited by the police to talk to them?” Gandhi said while addressing the ‘Kisan Nyay’ rally in Varanasi.
Lakhimpur Kheri violence is not an ordinary crime and Senior Congress leader and former Union minister Salman Khurshid on Sunday termed the October 3 violence in Lakhimpur Kheri as “tragic” and said this was not an ordinary crime as it was committed because of a “particular callous attitude” towards a democratic protest. He also said that “one should not see an opportunity in this tragedy”. Eight people died in the violence and of them, four were farmers, allegedly knocked down by a vehicle carrying BJP workers. Infuriated farmers then allegedly lynched some people in the vehicles. The other dead included two BJP workers and their driver.
Priyanka Gandhi said, “PM Modi called the protesting farmers ‘Andolanjivi’ and terrorists. Yogi Ji called them hooligans and tried to threaten them. The same minister (Ajay Kumar Mishra) said that he would make the protesting farmers fall in line within 2 minutes.”
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will choose whether she wants to be the chief ministerial candidate in the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, party leader and former Union minister Salman Khurshid has said. “Congress would contest the UP assembly polls under party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s leadership and she herself would decide on the issue of whether she would be party’s chief ministerial candidate or not,” Khurshid while speaking to reporters in Prayagraj on Saturday.
