Uttar Pradhesh: 8 killed, ploughed by BJP UM Ajay Mishra’s son’s SUVs

EconomyUttar Pradhesh: 8 killed, ploughed by BJP UM Ajay Mishra's son's SUVs

Eight were killed today reportedly ploughed into by two SUVs, reportedly belonging to Union Minister Ajay Mishra’s son.

The horrific incident happened in Uttar Pradesh Lakhimpur Kheri today during protests since the morning over the visit of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya.

Eight persons, including five farmers, were killed in the violence, said Arun Kumar Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police, Lakhimpur Kheri. The other four were occupants of the vehicle(s) that allegedly ran over the farmers.

Earlier, farmers’ unions had claimed that two of the protesters were allegedly run over by a vehicle in the convoy of the Union minister, in which his son and other relatives were seated.

A farmer openly reported to the Media:”Union minister’s son drove a car on farmers in Lakhimpur UP, 5 farmers died.  These people are proud of the pride of power.
Even after this condition of Annadata, if someone is silent then he is dead.
May God rest the souls of martyr farmers”

Visuals from the area recorded later showed vehicles set on fire as a man, apparently injured, lies on the ground.

Farmer unions have also claimed that eight farmers were injured. “In Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, 2 farmers have died and 8 farmers were seriously injured after the vehicles of the ministers’ convoy crushed the farmers standing on the side of the road, protesting against the program of the Union Minister of State for Home,” tweeted the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha, an umbrella body of farmers.

Dr Lalit Kumar, the medical officer of the district hospital in Lakhimpur Kheri, said two persons were dead on arrival and one seriously injured. “No postmortem has been conducted. They want the Union’s go ahead,” he added.

Mr Mishra, who is from the area, was holding a function at his village which the Deputy Chief Minister was also supposed to attend.

The Congress party held a press conference slamming the BJP government’s brutality likening it to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.  They showed solidarity with the farmers by standing up for a minute in respect for the departed souls. Gourav Vallabh, Professor-Finance and National Spokesperson-Congress started by saying that yesterday, India celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and today India’s soul was ripped to the core, and this goes far beyond the death of eight lives.

Gourav Vallabh said we Indians may have never seen the Jallianwala Bagh massacre but today India witnessed its horror.  Gourav Vallabh referred back to some weeks when BJP Union Minister Ajay Mishra threatened the farmers to stop their protests or he would fix them in two minutes. Gourav Vallabh said that it was apparent that this happened under the instructions of Ajay Mishra because he had earlier threatened the farmers and witnesses saw his son in the SUV.  The two SUVs ran over the farmers and killed them and eyewitnesses saw BJP Union Minister Ajay Mishra’s son in the car.

Vallabh said that the farmers were only asking for the three black laws to be pulled back, their protests were nonviolent, but in return, they were killed by the government in coldblooded murder.

Congress demanded that the Supreme Court take instant cognizance of the matter and remove the Union Minister for making threats, arrest the son who used his SUV to take the lives of the farmers, and also urged the Supreme Court to make a sitting committee to bring to light the incident to the nation as to how wildly running SUVs rammed into farmers sitting on both sides of the road.

Reports say that according to local witnesses, the vehicle was the son of Union Home Minister Ajay Teni.
This is no less than a terror. This how you treat the Ann Data ( backbone of the country)

Manohar Lal Khattar, the BJP CM of Haryana, asked his party workers and volunteers to attack the protesting farmers in the state. He assured them that they shouldn’t be worried about the legal consequences.

The Chief Minister of BJP tells his workers to raise an army of ruffians against the farmers.

This is BJP’s cheapness and murderous thinking against farmers.

Actually, the BJP has become thirsty for the blood of the farmers, but we are standing in front of the bloody intentions of the BJP.
