The State Disaster Management Authority said, “There shall be a prohibition on the movement of individuals for all essential activities between 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM in Haryana.” This imposed due to the sudden rise of the Corona virus.
Chandigarh: The Haryana government on Monday announced the imposition of night curfew from 2100 hrs to 0500 hrs, effective from April 12, owing to a sudden rise in cases of COVID-19.
“There shall be a prohibition on the movement of individuals for all essential activities between 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM in the state of Haryana,” the state Disaster Management Authority said in an order.
It further advised the people not to leave their homes or “move on foot or by vehicle or travel or stand on any road during the above said hours”.
On Sunday, the state reported the highest single-day spike of 3,440 COVID cases while 16 more people died.
