Petrol has increased by 28 paise and diesel by 30 paise per liter in the four largest metro cities of India. The price of petrol in the commercial city of Mumbai is Rs 90.01 and that of diesel is Rs 80.20 per liter

New Delhi: Government oil marketing companies have raised prices of petrol and diesel for the fifth consecutive day on Sunday. Petrol in the commercial city of Mumbai today went above Rs 90 per liter while in the national capital Delhi it crossed Rs 83 yesterday after two years.

Today, petrol has increased by 28 paise and diesel by 30 paise per liter in four major metro cities of India. Petrol in Delhi today reached Rs 83.41 per liter and diesel reached Rs 73.62 per liter.

Petrol in the commercial city of Mumbai is Rs 90.01 and diesel is priced at Rs 80.20 per liter. The prices in Chennai are 86.21 and 78.93 per liter respectively. In Kolkata, petrol price has been increased to Rs 84.86 and diesel to Rs 77.15 per liter.
