Saudi Arabia to grant $ 500 million to develop Covid vaccine

King Salman Humanitarian Assistance and Relief Center Supervisor General Abdullah Al Rabiyah said that Saudi Arabia would be the first country to get the Covid vaccine

Doha: Saudi Arabia’s Health Minister Tawfig bin Fawzan AlRabiah reported on Friday that his government is committed to funding over $ 500 million to develop a safe vaccine for the Coronavirus.

Al Rabiyah has said that Saudi Arabia is committed to providing a relief amount of $ 500 million to develop a vaccine against Covid-19. It’s to be noted that as many as 286 new cases of Coronavirus have been reported in Saudi Arabia on Friday, taking the number of patients infected here to 354800.

Meanwhile, King Salman Humanitarian Assistance and Relief Center Supervisor General Abdullah Al Rabiyah said that Saudi Arabia would be the first country to get the Coronavirus vaccine first.

The number of people infected with the global pandemic Coronavirus (Covid-19) has steadily increased to more than 5.75 crores and more than 13.71 lakh people have died due to the epidemic so far.

The United States, India, and Brazil account for about 48 percent of the total corona recorded cases worldwide. The US, India, and Brazil are ranked first, second, and third in terms of the number of people and dead infected by this epidemic.
