Angela Merkel said that restrictive measures in Germany have prevented the explosion situation in Corona. We still have a long way to go. The country has a light lockdown from November 2 to the end of the month.

Berlin: German Chancellor Angela Merkel says the imposition of sanctions in the country has helped stem the outbreak of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and officials will decide next week’s action.

Mrs. Merkel on Monday discussed with the heads of German regions about the status of the Covid-19 epidemic in the country. No consensus was reached for strict measures during the discussion, but recommendations were made to crack down on citizens to limit contacts.

‘This is a good decision for an interim assessment. We will discuss long-term solutions at the next meeting,’ she said.

‘We still have a long way to go, but the good news is that we have stopped the explosive growth and we are all happy,’ Mrs. Merkel told reporters after the meeting. It is noteworthy that in Germany, a ‘light’ lockdown is in force from November 2 to the end of the month.
