The van driver lost control at a turning point in the Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan, leading to the accident.
Islamabad: On Saturday, a van fell into a deep ditch in Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan, killing eight people and injuring 11 others.
Nowshera’s Additional Deputy Commissioner Noor Wali Khan told the media here today that the van driver lost control on a curved turn causing the accident.
The police and the relief and rescue team rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported and admitted the injured to the nearby hospital. In this accident, eight people, including a woman and a child, died on the spot.
