Nitish Kumar said after returning from staking claim of forming government before Governor Fagu Chauhan that the Governor has offered him to do so.
Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the newly elected leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), will take oath as Chief Minister of Bihar tomorrow for the seventh time.
Mr. Kumar told reporters here after returning from Governor Fagu Chauhan’s claim to form the government that he had informed the governor that he had been elected as the leader of the NDA Legislature Party. The governor has offered him to form the government. He said that he will take oath as Chief Minister tomorrow between 4.00 pm and 4.30 pm at Governor’s House.
The NDA leader said that some ministers will also take oath with him tomorrow. Their list will be sent to Governor’s House today or tomorrow morning. Asked if all the allied parties would be represented at the swearing-in of the cabinet tomorrow, he said that the leaders of the four parties would meet and decide on the same.

Mr. Kumar said that there will be a cabinet meeting tomorrow after the swearing-in ceremony and a decision will be taken on the assembly session so that the newly elected members of the assembly can be administered for the oath-taking.
NDA Legislature Party leader Mr. Kumar said when asked about the Deputy Chief Minister, “You will come to know about it soon.” He said, “People have a chance to work again. You have to do good work. We will try to ensure that there is no shortage in the new government.”
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi also returned after meeting Governor Fagu Chauhan after Mr. Nitish Kumar returned from Governor’s House. Mr. Rajnath Singh refused to give any name when asked about the Deputy Chief Minister.
When reporters again asked him if Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi would be the Deputy Chief Minister again, he said that it would be known when a decision will be taken.
