In Shanghai, people are committing suicide from their balconies, and pets from people having COVID are being collected to be killed.
There is a horrible crisis in Shanghai amid a silent world where 25 million citizens are under strict lockdown for weeks, most running out of supplies, with no food, water, or access to medicines while COVID positive patients are being taken away, their pets are being brutally killed. Others losing hope have taken their lives, jumping from their balconies.
Someone tweeted, “26 million people in lockdown in Shanghai. People are committing suicide from their balconies and Pets from people getting tested positive for #Covid are being collected to be killed and slaughtered in #Shanghai / #China. This is pure evil!

If the people protest, they will be arrested. The government has told the people that their homes have been requisitioned and turned into a quarantine facility. Here are heartbreaking videos of the pets.
It’s more horrific than we could ever imagine. https://t.co/OKg9LHlwFu

Pets are being brutally beaten to death. There was a tragic case that is going viral on video of a pandemic worker beating a corgi to death in Shanghai.
Chinese authorities are facing torrents of criticism after a COVID-19 prevention worker killed a pet dog in a locked-down Shanghai community on Wednesday.
The corgi’s owners had tested positive for Covid-19 and were being transferred to a quarantine centre.
The family decided to let the dog outside before they were quarantined in case it would starve at home. The video, which has gone viral in China, showed the corgi chasing the van for a short distance as it left.

A local official in charge of the community’s affairs told news portal people.com.cn that they killed the dog because they thought the animal posed a risk of spreading the disease.
Shanghai reported 19,982 cases on Thursday. Pudong is deserted amid Shanghai lockdown on the eastern bank of Huangpu River. Authorities in China have killed dogs on multiple occasions during the pandemic, a point of conflict between local governments and many residents.
At the end of last month, a district in Hebei in north China issued a circular to kill the pet animals whose owners test positive for COVID-19, which received significant blowback and was reversed.
Last month, Chen Wei, a delegate to the National People’s Congress, the country’s top political advisory body, suggested the authorities set up regulations for pet quarantines when their owners test positive for the virus.
Apparently, there is a list of 75 suicide cases in Shanghai which is shared below.
saw this post with a list of 75 suicide cases in Shanghai…
75 lives vs minimum 1% mortality rate of covid which might means 250,000 deaths if not contained… deaths always a hard decision for leaders to make.https://t.co/TyqEdtNweD— AM10 (@arcticmaster10) April 18, 2022
In this terrible situation of panic, the Chinese government is overacting to COVID-19 by locking up citizens and killing the pets of patients who have COVID because it is obvious that this wave is not deathly, it is rather like having viral flu, and surely, one does not lock up entire cities without the freedom to even go to the supermarkets to allow food, medicine, and water? The Chinese government has enabled a human rights crisis that is out of control and innocent people lost in the sea of despair are getting no help from the outside world too.
