In Karnataka, Muslim traders are barred from temple fairs in coastal Karnataka stopping them from doing local business.
Posters have been set up, particularly in coastal Karnataka, which read that the Muslim traders will be barred from putting up stalls at temples, festivals, and annual fairs in many parts of Karnataka. The posters reportedly read that those who are involved in cow slaughter will not be allowed to do business at local annual fairs.
Some Karnataka Muslim traders had earlier supported the bandh call given against the HC verdict on the hijab controversy and closed their shops in a few areas.
Sending out a message to the traders from the Muslim community, the posters also read that people who don’t respect the law of the land will not be allowed to do business.
Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Sharan Pumpwell supported the call to ban the traders belonging to the Muslim community, saying that it is justified to bar them as too many atrocities are being committed on the Hindu community.
Responding to the poster controversy, Karnataka Education Minister BC Nagesh tried to play down the problem by saying that every action invites reaction.
After the Karnataka High Court upheld the ban on hijab in educational institutions, several Muslim shopkeepers had temporarily closed shutters to protest against the judgment.
The shoppers, businessmen, and traders of the Muslim community closed their shops in Shivajinagar, K.G. Halli, D.J. Halli, Padarayanapura, and some other areas in Bengaluru.
Muslim traders had closed their shops in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, and Kalaburagi districts.
Also, the Karnataka government gave Y-category security to HC judges who delivered hijab verdict. The ruling BJP had slammed the bandh call given by Muslim organizations, while Congress had supported the move.
According to reports, the Mahalingeshwara Temple organization has already banned Muslims from participating in the auction. Another Mandir in the Udupi district, the Hosa Marigudi temple has also denied permission to Muslims to put up stalls.
Is India heading for another “war” between Hindus and Muslims? The Hindu public is apparently being mesmerized by fake propaganda against Muslims. They appear to be up in arms against Muslims apparent from their comments and cries.
