Terrorists in Kashmir were never able to divide the Hindu-Muslim unity in Kashmir
The terrorists in Kashmir have persistently tried to label their movement in Kashmir as a Hindu-Muslim conflict, but they have not been successful so far. They could not destroy the hundreds of years old culture and brotherhood of Kashmir no matter how hard they conspired to destroy it.
In fact, in the 1990s, the separatists in Kashmir endeavored hard to turn the Kashmir issue into a Hindu-Muslim conflict by attacking Kashmiri Pandits at the behest of Pakistan. This did not affect the Hindu-Muslims in Kashmir who identified that this was not in Islam because terrorism has no religion, but their brutality was hiding behind the mask of Islam.
Muslim Kashmiris were targeted by terrorists
Due to the Muslims’ resistance to this propaganda, they were already on the target of terrorists. The terrorists held a condition where they used to enter the house of any Muslim and pressurize them to marry a girl of their choice. It was also in their belief system to kill anyone from that house if they protested.
If a Muslim spoke in support of India, the terrorists would not hesitate to kill them. Terrorists hated the Muslims so much that they even contemplated setting fire to places of worship like Charar Sharif. Muslims were slaughtered in massive numbers in the hands of terrorists that there was no place in cemeteries to bury them.
Kashmiri Muslim youth working in Kashmir Police were gunned down by terrorists near mosques and houses due to the raging conflict between Indianism and terrorism, which Pakistan-backed terrorists wanted to label as an Islamic movement to create a wave of sympathy in Muslim countries.
The Truth of Kashmir was that if Hindus were sacrificing their lives for Kashmir, Muslims were also pouring out their blood:
Despite thousands of attempts, terrorist groups could not convert the Kashmir issue into a Hindu-Muslim dispute. The truth of Kashmir was that if Hindus were sacrificing their lives for Kashmir, then Muslims were also pouring out their blood.
For an Indian Muslim as me:
For Muslims like us, Kashmir has always been an integral part of India, that’s why we have never considered it a Hindu-Muslim dispute. Let me tell here that in February 1980, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, I had the opportunity to visit Iran with various scholars, professors, and students. There were people from all over the world. There, the first anniversary of the Islamic Revolution was being celebrated, the closing ceremony of this anniversary was held at the University of Tehran.
After speeches by delegations from different countries, a resolution was presented in that ceremony about the issues and problems that Muslims were facing in many parts of the world. On this occasion, MianTufail Ahmed, who was leading the Pakistani delegation, stood up and stated that the issue of Kashmir should also be included in this resolution.
After his statement, I stood up and strongly opposed it and said that the issue of Kashmir cannot be a part of this resolution because we 70 million Muslims of India do not want to give our Kashmir to Pakistan (at that time the population of Muslims in India was approximately 70 million) The issue of Kashmir was not included in the resolution after I raised that objection.
Obviously, the Government of India had not asked me to say this nor was I part of any official delegation. The truth is, I and crores of Indians like me have always felt that the issue of Kashmir is a conflict between Indianism and terrorism, but now this reality is being painted with the deceptive colors of toxic lies.
How Vivek Agnihotri dangerously swerved the pendulum from truth to a lie
Today, through a film named Kashmir Files, it is being told that the Muslims were targeting the Hindus there, not the struggle of Indianness and terrorism in Kashmir. Rabid virulent chants through India are starting to spread hate between Hindus and Muslims.
This film is being promoted by every person who believes in spreading Hindu Muslim animosity. A lie is bred in the film where an atmosphere is created projecting the issue of Kashmir as a religious issue whereby the Kashmiri Pandits were forced to leave the valley not by terrorists but by local Muslims.
While the terrorists wanted the world to see the Kashmir issue as a Hindu-Muslim conflict, they could not do so because the terrorists killed far more Muslims than Hindus. Through the film, Vivek Agnihotri dangerously swerved the pendulum of truth to a lie where he painted the Kashmir Pundit massacre and exodus as Hindu-Muslim combat.
Shockingly, during in and outside movie halls and in mega shopping malls, frenzied mobs started chanting against Muslims. After the screening of the film in cinema halls, slogans are being raised against Muslims with fresh hatred towards Muslims pouring it, promoted by even political figures in their strange silence over this amid rather silent courts.
Since I belong to a class that believes in Hindu-Muslim unity, neither I have seen this film nor will my conscience allow me to watch a film that is designed to break the unity of India.
Let on pray on Holi for the colors of love and truth to be scattered over India
Let us on the occasion of Holi that the new political diabolical ritual to spread hatred be destroyed, the colors of toxic lies be burned down and the pure colors of love and truth be scattered over this bleeding, bruised nation to unite us all alike.
