Beirut: Terrorists carried out attacks on three passenger buses and a fuel truck on Sunday near Salamiyah town in Hama province, Syria, killing 9 people and injuring 4 others. This information was given by Muhammad Tariq Krishati, the Governor of Hama Province.
Syria’s daily al-Watan was quoted by the military as giving a report of the attack on Sunday. According to sources, the attack took place on the Salamiyah al-Raqqa highway.
The clashes between the Syrian security forces and the terrorists stationed there started, leading to the closure of the highway.
Governor Krishati told Syrian official television that the convoy of fuel trucks and three passenger buses were attacked at around 9:30 p.m on Sunday.
The attack killed nine people and injured four others. All the people have been shifted to safer places from the spot, while the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Salamiyah. Terrorists have used small arms in the attack.
