Farmers have been demonstrating for three months and Gadkari says ‘laws are good’

IndiaFarmers have been demonstrating for three months and Gadkari says 'laws are good'

All India Kisan Sabha says the farmers would continue the struggle and the next step of agitation would be announced by the Kisan Sabha on 6th of January

Hisar: Farmer leaders, including the head of Hisar district of All India Kisan Sabha, Shamsir Singh Nambardar on Sunday condemned the statement of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in which he said that all three agricultural laws are good and no one has abided by these rules. The wrong teller did not come forward.

AIKS twitted, “Massive Tractor Rally by Andhra Pradesh AIKSCC in Vijayawada against the Anti-Farmer Acts brought by BJP Government led by Narendra Modi. Thousands of farmers, tenant farmers, agricultural workers and workers participated.”

During a sit-in demonstration on the tenth day of the toll-free movement at the toll plaza chaudharies here, leaders such as Mr. Nambardar, the press secretary of the assembly Sobe Singh Borah and chief adviser Rajkumar Thawar said that thousands of farmers are continuously protesting against three black farm laws demanding the government to repeal them and Mr. Gadkari is making such a statement.

He said that the farm laws are not only against the farmers but also against the country. The government has hastily passed in an undemocratic manner, triggering a wave of protests across the country.

He said that senior ministers of the central government held several discussions with farmer leaders. Home Minister Amit Shah, while talking to the farmers’ organizations, admitted that there were flaws in all the three bills, hence the farmer leaders have alleged that Mr. Gadkari’s statement seems to be something else.

He said that this apparently did not reflect the intention of the central government and demanded that the government resolve the issue by seriously discussing the farmers’ demands on January 4.
