IndiaAIMIM extends support to agitating farmers against newly passed farm laws

Asaduddin Owaisi shared a poster in a tweet and other social media platforms in which he opposed the recently passed farm laws by the Center and extended his support to farmers opposing the laws

Hyderabad: The national president of All India Majlis-e-Ittihad-ul-Muslimeen Br. Asaduddin Owaisi has today extended his support to farmers protesting on Delhi’s borders against recently passed farm laws by the Centre. The farmers’ protests started when civic elections in Hyderabad – Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) – were underway.

Mr. Owaisi’s AIMIM party was one of the key players in the Hyderabad civic elections. This is said to be the reason for the delayed announcement of AIMIM’s support to the agitating farmers.

AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi today shared a poster in a tweet in which he opposed the recently passed agriculture law by the Center and strongly supported the farmers who are agitating against these laws.

Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi also shared posters on other social media platforms such as Facebook in support of protesting farmer organizations. The caption of the poster reads, ‘Majlis is with the farmers.’

He tweeted, “@aimim_national stands in solidarity with farmers. The protests by the farmers are legitimate. Prime Minister @narendramodi should himself come forward and talk to the farmers’ organisations – Barrister @asadowaisi”

The poster states, ‘We and our party are with the farmers, their demand is legitimate. The Prime Minister should himself talk to the farmers.’

Protests at various places in Telangana

Meanwhile, all-party farmer organizations staged protests at various places in Telangana. The protest was organized by the Farmers’ Center in the national capital New Delhi in response to the farmers’ organizations’ appeal against the unfair treatment of farmers, in which the farmers of Delhi were supported.

Protesting farmers’ organizations said that nationwide protests would be staged on 5th of this month against the inappropriate attitude of the Center. Slogans were raised against the central government and in support of the farmers.

A large number of farmers blocked the road at the Golconda intersection. The protesters accused the central government of mistreating the farmers.
