In an event organised by Nepal-India Friendship Society celebrating 77th Independence Day of India, K P Sharma Oli , Chairperson of CPN-UML, C K Raut of Janmat party, Upendra Yadav of People’s Socialist Party, Arjun N KC of Nepali Congress, Hem Jung Gurung of RPP and all major political parties of Nepal congratulated India. India has progressed with launch of Chandrayan-3 and with accelerated growth of India by 2047 India may stand as developed country.
Nepal shares common cultural heritage and unique relationship with India where Nepali leaders as Khadag Bahadur, Dhanpati Singh and many more freedom fighters contributed in struggle for independence. These leaders were remembered on the occasion celebrating India’s freedom from British Rule and were paid homage.
