PoliticsPM appeals people to exercise their franchise to make Karnataka No.1

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued an open letter to the people of Karnataka, urging them to cast their vote on May 10 to help Karnataka become the top state in the country. He prayed for the state’s success and prosperity and emphasized the importance of voting for a bright future, particularly for the younger generations. He stated that his dream is to see the dream of every citizen of Karnataka fulfilled.

The BJP government is committed to creating next-generation urban infrastructure, modernizing transportation, improving the quality of life in rural and urban areas, and creating new opportunities for women and youth in Karnataka, the Prime Minister said.

He pointed out that India is the world’s fifth-largest economy and that Karnataka is eager to lead the country in realizing the vision of becoming a developed nation. To achieve this goal, Karnataka must become a $1 trillion economy, according to Modi.

The Prime Minister went on to say that the double-engine government’s decisive, focused, and forward-looking policies are driving Karnataka’s economic growth.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Karnataka has received over Rs 90,000 crore in foreign investment each year under the BJP government, compared to just Rs 30,000 crore under the previous administration, he said. This indicates the BJP’s commitment to the state’s progress and to the welfare of its youth.

Modi added that the government is working to make Karnataka a leader in investment, industry, innovation, education, employment, and entrepreneurship, as well as to empower farmers with a Beej Se Bazar Tak vision.

The BJP is also dedicated to making Karnataka the top state in agriculture by implementing new irrigation projects, expanding storage facilities, increasing ethanol blending, utilizing nano urea, and employing modern technologies such as drones.

The Prime Minister stated that the double-engine government’s decisions to improve connectivity, ease of living, and ease of doing business have laid a solid foundation for Karnataka to become India’s top state. He also expressed his admiration for Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage, which has inspired him and the entire nation.

He cited the accomplishments of great figures from the state’s history, such as Jagajyothi Basaveshwara, Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, Shri Kanakadasa, and Onake Obavva, and stated that the BJP is working to build a modern Karnataka that would make these luminaries proud.
