Since February 24, Russian invaders have killed at least 416 children in Ukraine. Twin Denys, a 9-year-old, is one of them.
A story in particular that is stirring hearts is the one about Denys, a 9-year-old boy who was a twin. When The Russians started shelling Zelenodolsk in Dnipropetrovsk region, Denys immediately tried to save his twin brother, and sacrificed his life by covering his twin brother with himself. Denys was tragically killed. The brave little hero is breaking hearts.

Russia has declared that it will annex four Ukrainian provinces: Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. Russia is to ‘consult’ locals on annexed Ukraine regions’ border. In this, Ukraine refuses to negotiate after Russian annexation and there are new sanctions on Russia after Ukraine annexation but does Russia really care about sanctions?
US President Joe Biden said, “Make no mistake: these actions have no legitimacy,” he said.
On a hopeful note, with Ukraine’s victories in recent weeks, the Kremlin could come to the negotiating table. If Putin pushes through the annexation of Ukrainian territory, analysts fear that there will be no way out for Russia or Ukraine. Moscow will be forced to fight for what it claims as its territory while Ukraine will refuse to negotiate so long as Russia claims its land.
Uncertainty in global markets and among energy suppliers will likely continue. The possibility of a large-scale conflict which involves major European powers and the recession in America will likely heighten that uncertainty.
While India abstained on a vote for a draft resolution in the UN Security Council condemning Russia’s actions, India diplomatically calls for dialogue and for respecting territorial integrity, thus India cannot stand strongly with Russia, nor strongly oppose Russia. In all this, not only trade of oil and economy will suffer but also diplomatic relations with India’s neighbor could turn fragile. Most parts of the world is wobbling with the instablity Putin’s egotistical war brought on, especially in the field of trade after the COVID-19 knockdown.
