#LaalSinghChaddha, a remake of Forrest Gump, has anticipated earnings of Rs 12-14 crore on the first day according to film critics.
August 11 is a big date for movie lovers because two big Bollywood superstars’ movies have been released and these films are ‘Rakshabandhan‘ and ‘Lal Singh Chadha‘. There has been heavy demand for a boycott for both these movies for reasons of their own.
The makers have invested Rs 180 crore and anticipated to earn Rs 12-14 crores on the first day. Akshay’s film Rakshabandhan is also being released today, expected to earn 9 to 11 crores on the first day.
Aamir Khan’s film Laal Singh Chaddha is also being opposed heavily with massive trends on social media to boycott his movie rolling due to him acting in PK being falsely accused of making fun of Hindu gods when in reality, the movie was made by a Hindu dominant makers, and Hindu actors:
It was an Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film edited and directed by Rajkumar Hirani and written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi, and jointly produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. The boycott of Aamir Khan seemed like religious propaganda, nothing more.
According to film critic and trade analyst Sumit Kadel, this Aamir Khan film can earn Rs 12-14 crore on the first day. However, some time ago, trade analyst Akshaye Rathi had told that Aamir Khan’s film can give an opening of around 12 crores on the first day.
Laal Singh Chaddha, the remake of the American famous award-winning Forrest Gump from Alabama in the fifties released nearly 30 years is anticipated to be a big winner. The original story is that of a simple, honest man stumbling through the world and though he seemed to do everything wrong, things magically worked out for him without even trying, making this movie a classic.
This movie now translated to another culture is thought to make a deep impact. Going back to its roots, Laal Singh Chaddha is an official Bollywood remake of Gump, directed by Advait Chandan (Secret Superstar) and adapted from Eric Roth’s original screenplay by Atul Kulkarni.
Hindi film superstar Aamir Khan (Dangal) takes on the title role as Gump, acting as an intellectually weak Laal, set in Punjab in the seventies. Over the course of roughly 40 years, Laal wanders through momentous events in Indian history in a way similar to Gump.
Laal’s girlfriend, Rupa, (Kareena Kapoor) plays a rather redundant role. Much of the dialogue is lifted word for word from the original with minor changes, bu
While anticipated to be successful, a remake can always be more complicated with comparisons while Aamir Khan in his 50s has to act as a man in his 20s, making the digital remake intensive.

Siraj Teli: Laal Singh Chaddha was overall impeccable, it just blew my mind I didn’t think the movie could be that good, Finally I can say that Bollywood has a good movie, I literally enjoyed the movie throughout Excellent acting, What a movie it was beyond expectations it’s really a blockbuster it’s music and background score is amazing and the dialogues are also fantastic.
Laal Singh Chaddha is the adaptation of Forrest Gump but in the Hindi version, I can also say that Aamir Khan’s acting is way better his performance and acting skills has no example, Hats off to Aamir Khan you are the best in what you do, what a versatile actor, a movie that deserves 10/10, you will also agree when you watch this movie, Laal Singh Chaddha deserves the best movie of the year.
What a legend Aamir Khan is. Don’t care about others who boycotting this film first watch then decide, If you walked in to watch Laal Singh Chaddha” (as I did) confident that you knew what was in store, not expecting to be surprised you’d be right and wrong, what a brilliant movie and Atul Kulkarni deserves best scriptwriter of this film spending the first ten years adapting the script, and another ten years purchasing the remake rights, what a picture cinema.
At its finest Laal Singh Chaddha is the high energy funny exhilarating motion picture cinemas and audiences need-and-it’s full throttle heart!
Furthermore, the absolutely brilliant combination of screenwriting, directing, and all the technical elements combine to acknowledge and build upon the nostalgia, and Advait Chandan’s direction blew the audience’s mind just like his last film the secret superstar and supporting actors also performed very well Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya, I went in a little apprehensive but I’m pleased to say the movie exceeded my expectations, an outstanding blockbuster film that exceeds expectations do watch this film because it’s worthy don’t believe in fake reviews who wants to boycott, they always write negative reviews. They always write negative reviews without any specific reasons must watch if you like the trailer.
Tanveer Ranjha: Equally as good as the original Forrest Gump. Strong plot good direction and another mind-blowing performance by Aamir Khan, though it is an adaptation of Forrest Gump it has been projected keeping in mind the historical evolution of India. Another classic cult, full of moments that give goosebumps. It motivates you, makes one laugh, ponder, and instils a belief, that a focused, determined, steady act, turns one into a refined person, irrespective of the way he speaks or grasps the norms and customs of society. I didn’t wipe tears rolling down my cheeks, cherishing the beautiful memories of friends family, and beloved ones. It is a complete package and this recipe includes every ingredient to entertain. Want to keep it short without detailing the storyline and giving insight into the plot, so the viewers can have a firsthand experience in theatres.
Furqan Mirza: This movie is definitely a must-watch. The original is my favourite but this one doesn’t disappoint for sure. Aamir’s acting is great but didn’t quite match Tom Hanks. The locations and cinematography are excellent. All the characters did their job wonderfully and the emotional scenes were on point but the comedy scenes could have been better. I would urge people to watch it in theatres as I believe they will have a good experience watching it on the big screen. The hard work of all the actors and filmmakers can be noticed throughout the movie.
Overall it was an enjoyable experience..Go and watch it now you guys will
love it!!
