Jammu and Kashmir over the years face a power crisis and, in fact, were experiencing the worst ever power crisis in the heat of the summer in April when they went through 12-14 hours of unscheduled power cuts. The promise of a 24×7 electricity supply with Smart Metering has been crushed when the meters were stalled in Jammu and Srinagar cities.
This new powerhouse is a welcoming move and hopes it will be built soon to end the severe power cuts that the Valley faces.
Due to electricity issues, a electric power house is going to be established at #budgam.
Now with new receiving centres people in valley will not face frequent power disruption. #Kashmir @OfficeOfLGJandK @nitishwarKumar
