Bank manager Vijay Kumar was killed in Kulgam, Kashmir, and this is the 8th targeted killing since May 1st of last month.
Bank manager Vijay Kumar had joined his new job last week. Kashmir is going through some of its hardest times, not only hit in the economy, but also in life, and Kashmiris and other residents are living at the end of a butt of a gun. While BJP leaders claimed militancy will end, and normalcy will restore after the Revocation of Article 370, everything only became worse.
Bank manager Vijay Kumar killed in Kulgam, Kashmir. This is the 4th incident of killing in last one week. Where are those BJP leaders who claimed militancy will end, normalcy will restore after revocation of Article 370. Modi's idea of strong leadership- flopped. Slow claps! pic.twitter.com/z0JEXyRRVT

The Kashmir bank manager was shot in the second targeted killing in the last 72 hours.
Vijay Kumar, manager of Elaqahi Dehati Bank breathed his last as he was being rushed to hospital after the attack. The bank manager from Rajasthan was shot dead in the second targeted attack on Hindus in the Valley in three days.
See this chilling video of how a terrorist could cooly walk into the bank and shoot him. Remember, Kashmir is the most militarized zone in the world. There is a military rule in Kashmir with 500,000 armed troops (300,000 army troops, 70,000 Rashtriya Rifle soldiers, 130,000 central police forces) to control the people and over 100,000 civilian intelligence and surveillance- lance operatives to monitor them. There is something seriously wrong if, amid such heavy army control, terrorists can cooly walk into homes, police men’s homes, offices, and schools and kill civilians so easily.

The terrorist entered the Areh branch of Elaqahi Dehati Bank and shot Vijay Kumar, the bank manager. A CCTV footage shows the killer entering the branch, firing a shot and fleeing. Vijay Kumar was being rushed to the hospital when he breathed his last.
A resident of the Hanumangarh district in Rajasthan, Kumar had recently joined his posting in Kulgam. Police said the area has been cordoned off and efforts are on to track down the terrorists behind the attack.
The attack comes just two days after a Hindu teacher from Jammu, Rajni Bala, was killed by terrorists outside a school, also in Kulgam.
Recent killings of locals and minorities in Kashmir are eerily reminiscent of the 1990s and after the Abrogation of Article 370, while the government promised to end terrorism, it has only increased. Was the Abrogation of Article 370 the biggest blunder of the government?
