Repentant Narsinghanand asks Tyagi’s forgiveness, wants to live a new life

IndiaRepentant Narsinghanand asks Tyagi's forgiveness, wants to live a new life

Narsinghanand famous for his hate speeches now repentant and ask for forgiveness for his old life and wants to live a new Dharmic life.

A very repentant Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati

A very repentant Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, the head priest of the Dasna Devi Temple, of the Hindu Samaj, seemingly very emotional and almost in tears, beating his chest says in a video, surrounded by other sanyasis, that he had been gearing himself to fight Islamic Jihad but now devotes the rest of his life as a Lord Shiva devotee, reading Gita and refrains from getting involved in politics and social media, which was a big mistake.  He says he now devotes his life to living as a holy Dharmic person.  He asks for forgiveness for his old life and says he now wants to live a new life.  He ends his speech by saying Har Har Mahadev three times, a worship homage to Lord Shiva.

He said for no fault of Tyagi’s, he was in jail for 4 months and he could not help him.  Narsinghanand took full responsibility for not being able to do anything when the former Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board member, aka Wasim Rizvi, (who converted to Hinduism and changed his name to Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi), was sent to jail for four months for hate speech and Narsinghanand Saraswati asks Tyagi’s forgiveness that he could not help him.

Notably, when Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi was released from jail, he distanced himself from Narsinghanand because he felt let down and left the jail without letting Narsinghanand meet him, keeping a distance, and a friendship was broken.

Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati specifically expressed that he would no longer make the mistake of being involved in politics, used by fighting Islam which sends a strong signal that politicians are using priests to fight against “Islam” in India that has caused havoc with mixed emotions brewing all over India.

Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, “Now I will never say anything against Islam and Muslims, till now whatever I have spewed venom against Islam was my fault, I am sorry for this, next life will be spent only for the service of Mahadev”:

“Now I will never say anything against Islam and Muslims, till now whatever I have spewed venom against Islam was my fault, I am sorry for this, next life will be spent only for the service of Mahadev”: Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati

He said “I have been fighting for a Hindu Rastra for the last 25 years. But my Hindu brothers and sisters are not serious.”  He is facing 20 different cases, according to his lawyer, Maa Chetnanand Saraswati, who is also a priest at the Dasna Devi temple and gone to jail 33 times.

Some of the early hate speeches of Narsinghanand had called on Hindu youth to become “Prabhakaran” and “Bhindranwale” and provoked Hindus to pick up arms against the Muslims.  He had reportedly called Muslims “demons”, threatened to “eliminate” them, and said he is striving to create an India “free of Islam”. In September, police in UP registered three cases against him for allegedly insulting women after a video of him describing female politicians as mistresses of their male counterparts went viral.

He said, “The “war” against Muslims cannot be fought through social media. “Social media is not the right tool to fight the war. As long as there is no ground reality, as long as they (Hindus) do not take up arms against the police, or the government, then there is nothing I can do.”

While he wants to focus on worship, he said, “Social media is fake support. For the last 25 years, we have failed to create strong support on land. We have failed to make them (Hindus) understand the problem. Hence we have decided we will worship Lord Shiva and hope that through this my Hindu brothers and sisters would understand what I was trying to say all this while and fight against those who are against Sanatan life.” So the fight is still on but in a more peaceful way!

Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi, formerly Waseem Rizvi

Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi, formerly known as Waseem Rizvi, Narsinghanand Tyagi-Rizvi’s guru, earlier in the Samajwadi Party and later in 2008, became a member of the Shia Central Waqf Board. In 2012, Tyagi was expelled from the SP for six years after falling out with Shia cleric Kalbis the former member and chairman of the Shia Central Waqf Board of Uttar Pradesh.  Tyagi of his free will had chosen to undergo religious conversion to Hinduism on 6 December 2021.  He is known for filing a petition in India’s Supreme Court, as well as producing the Bollywood film Ram Ki Janmabhoomi.

The police had just made their first arrest in the Haridwar hate speeches case, taking into custody the accused Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi a.k.a Wasim Rizvi, who had been the first one to be named in the FIR.

In January 2018, Tyagi wrote to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the Prime Minister of India, seeking the abolition of Madrasas and said that some of them act as breeding grounds for terrorists instead of ensuring jobs for Muslims.

It seems Tyagi has burned all bridges.  With the recent distancing of Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi from Yati Narsinghanand Saraswat, will their friendship be restored after Narsinghanand’s repentant open apology?
