A terrorist group, Lashkar-e-Islam sent a threat note to migrants & Kashmiri Pandits demanding they leave Kashmir or face targeted killings.
A terrorist group, Lashkar-e-Islam, has sent a threatening letter to Kashmiri Pandits and migrants living in the Hawal transit in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The letter was addressed to the president of the migrant colony in Hawal, where the terrorist group urged ‘migrants and RSS agents’ to “leave or face death”.
The threat letter was signed by the Commander of Lashkar-e-Islam, who proclaimed there was “no space for Kashmiri Pandits who want another Israel in Kashmir to kill Kashmiri Muslims”, according to a report by India Today.
The terror group also threatened Kashmiri Pandits to “be ready for target killing” if they don’t leave. “Double/triple your security, be ready for target killing. You will die,” the letter further stated.

Earlier Another Dubious Threat Letter by Lashkar-e-Islam
Earlier, there was a dubious letter claimed to be issued by Lashkar-e-Islam to threaten Kashmiri Pandits that went viral and was shared by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, maker of the Kashmir Files. Alt News has debunked this news as fake and read about it more on the link. https://www.altnews.in/dubious-letter-claimed-to-be-issued-by-lashkar-e-islam-to-threaten-kashmiri-pandits-viral/
Alt News found that one Vijay Raina tweeted the same letter a few hours before Vivek Agnihotri. Raina claimed that the letter was found in Veervan Pandit Colony in Baramulla and that it was “sent by post”.
“The threatening letter was delivered via post to the security detail of the colony on Tuesday evening” and added, “however, it doesn’t seem to be real, according to the police, given the fact that the said terrorist organization’s existence is uncertain. The police assured that robust precautions and security measures have been put in place nonetheless.”
There are also certain red flags in the letter that raise doubts about its authenticity.
1. The letter is unsigned: The letter merely says “commander” at the end, without the name and signature of Lashkar-e-Islam’s commander.
2. Lashkar-e-Islam is misspelled: The word “Lashkar” is misspelled as “Lashker” in the letter. It is unimaginable that the outfit would misspell its own name on official letterhead. Pakistan banned Lashkar-e-Islam on June 30, 2008, and a government document that lists proscribed organizations gives the correct spelling – “Lashkar”. It is noteworthy that the outfit’s name transliterated in English is also written as “Lashkar-e-Islami”.

Horror over Rahul Bhat’s Murder
There is horror over Kashmir and massive protests over the recent killing of a Kashmir Pandit, Rahul Bhat, and there was a mass resignation by more than 350 Kashmiri Pandit Prime Minister Package Employees in Kashmir was sent to Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha after Rahul Bhat’s terrible murder.
The horrific incident occurred when two men suspected to be Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists entered the crowded government office at 4.30 pm and shot a Kashmiri Pandit employee in Budgam district in central Kashmir on Thursday, in a targeted killing.
Rahul Bhat (35), who was posted in the Tehsil office in Chadoora under a special employment package for Kashmiri Pandit migrants, was rushed to the premier SMHS Hospital in Srinagar but succumbed to his injuries soon after.
The murder of 35-year-old Rahul Bhat drew strong condemnation from political parties and employees’ associations and huge protests over Kashmir.
The family felt it was a conspiracy because they state that Rahul was well-loved and respected and are suspicious of how the terrorists found their way to the office. Rahul Bhat’s wife said that “Terrorists must have got info on Rahul Bhat from his workplace.” Who gave this information is the question.

Later, Kashmir Tigers claimed responsibility for the killing. Rahul Bhat lived in a migrant colony at Sheikhpura in Budgam district and had worked for around eight years. He is survived by his wife, five-year-old daughter, and parents. His father is a retired police officer.
Was the revocation of Article 370 a complete failure because not only did it politically destabilize Jammu and Kashmir at a very sensitive stage, cripple the economy and halt mainly international tourism but also endangered the lives of innocent citizens. Despite being the heaviest most militarized zone in the world, terrorists in Kashmir still have access to walk into homes and offices and shoot down civilians. How is it possible?
