Kerala is a seat of violence for political workers and when a PFI worker was hacked to death by RSS, next day, RSS worker was hacked by PFI. I.
RSS Worker Hacked to Death Before Wife
SK Srinivasan (45), a former district leader and office-bearer of RSS, was attacked by a six-member gang at his motorbike shop in Melamuri, Palakkad, on Saturday, police said. This was the second political murder within a span of 24 hours in Palakkad district, where the RSS leader was hacked to death in the afternoon by a bike-borne gang, which the police suspect was a retaliation to the murder of a PFI leader the previous day.
It was reported he was horribly hacked to death before his wife.
PFI Worker the Previous Day Hacked to Death Before Father
The previous day, Subair, 44, the right-wing outfit’s Elappully area chief, was killed a few meters away from the local mosque in Elappully where he and his father, Aboobacker, had gone to offer the congregational Friday prayers, police said.
Police said Subair and Aboobacker had just started for home after their Friday prayers and were on their bike when a car hit them. The assailants then hacked Subair multiple times and fled, leaving the car behind, the police added. A local resident rushed Subair to the district hospital where he was declared dead. His father, Aboobacker, who is being treated for injuries at the hospital, told the police his son had political enmity with RSS members in the district.
The previous year, on November 15th, an RSS worker was killed at the same place in Palakkad district in a similar manner.
Subair was killed brutally and PFI has blamed the killing on the BJP and its ideological mentor, the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh), an allegation to the BJP leadership in Palakkad has denied.
However, in an act of revenge, it is evident that PFI killed an RSS this year. Palakkad Superintendent of Police P R Vishwanadh said the car abandoned by Subair’s killers was “prima facie” found registered in the name of slain RSS leader S Sanjith.
Sanjith was killed in the same area on November 15 last year, in a stunningly similar manner — by car-borne assailants, in front of his wife. The killing was blamed on the PFI and its political offshoot, the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), with the police charge sheeting 10 PFI-SDPI men in February this year.
SP Vishwanadh said: “However, at this stage, we cannot say whether it is a political murder or not. Only after effecting the arrest of the alleged accused, the motive behind the murder could be ascertained. Prima facie, the assailants seemed to have moved to the nearby state (Tamil Nadu).’’
Dr. Shama Mohamed from Congress tweeted “S Sanjith, RSS worker hacked to death in front of his wife. Subair, a PFI worker hacked to death in front of his father.
@vijayanpinarayi should see to it that the murderers are sent to the gallows. Till then this horrific political violence in Kerala will not stop.” Both the BJP and the Congress are criticizing the levels of violence and political murders creeping up in Kerala.
S Sanjith , RSS worker hacked to death infront of his wife . Subair, a PFI worker hacked to death infront of his father . @vijayanpinarayi should see to it that the murderers are send to the gallows. Till then this horrific political violence in Kerala will not stop.
