There is a feeling of helplessness with the frequent attacks on mosques, the hijab, and halal issues that are constantly drumming on Muslims and destroying the sanctity of communal harmony, and Muslims are voicing “Enough is enough!”
Astonishingly, the Indian Army had earlier announced that the Kupwara district is militancy-free and the most tranquil area in Kashmir where Handwara, a part of the Kupwara district, is regarded as one of the most peaceful places in Kashmir.
The Police or the Army have not yet issued a statement on the incident yet. However, it seems that the altercation was initially an act of provocation by entering the mosque, and netizens state, “This is crossing all limits” by troubling worshippers by barging in and taking videos of them. It is extremely unfortunate that Muslims are being harangued during the sacred period of Ramadan when they are fasting and praying without much in way of authorities to stop these inciting incidents.
