With 100 farmers lathi-charged and booked, Navjot Singh Sidhu accuses Aam Aadmi Party of killing one Congress worker in Punjab.
The farmers were protesting before the Tehsil complex in Lambi, Punjab, demanding compensation for the damage to their cotton crop due to a pink bollworm attack in the morning, but later stormed into the complex and stopped the officials from going out.
The Punjab Revenue Officers Association is to go on an indefinite strike in Punjab after a naib-tehsildar, some patwaris, and other officials were captured by farmers belonging to the Bharti Kissan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) at the sub-tehsil office in Lambi on Monday.
Meanwhile, the police lathi-charged the protesting farmers at midnight and dispersed them and some farmers were severed injured and admitted to a hospital.
However, the farmers have again started the protest while revenue officers are gathering at a government rest house at Badal Village.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu Congress leader furiously attacked the AAP state government over the murder of a Congress worker in the Zira assembly constituency of Punjab. Congress leader Sidhu claimed that the worker was lynched. After this incident, Sidhu himself went to meet the family. After this, he also shared the video of this meeting on Twitter.

Navjot Singh Sidhu tweeted that a Congress worker was brutally beaten to death in Zira assembly constituency. Kasowana reached the village to meet his family, where his body was brought. Discussed this matter with the administration. The guilty should be arrested immediately.
