A strong earthquake strikes Afghanistan where tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi, measured at 5.7 on the Richter scale.
The powerful tremors of the earthquake were felt in Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi after the 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region on Saturday morning the National Center for Seismology said.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 95 km south-southeast (SSE) of Fayzabad, Afghanistan, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 9:45 AM IST at a depth of 181 km from the surface.
