Group Captain Varun Singh, the only survivor from the helicopter crash is shifted to Bengaluru for advanced treatment.
Group Captain Varun Singh, the lone survivor of the Mi-17V5 chopper crash which took away the lives of India’s first Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others, was today shifted to Bengaluru for advanced treatment.
Capt Varun Singh suffered severe burns and was undergoing treatment at the Military Hospital Wellington, was airlifted to Bengaluru from the Sulur Air Force Station near Coimbatore for advanced treatment. Earlier, he was brought to Sulur Air Force Station by road in an ambulance.
