The EC to announce the results of by-elections in three parliamentary constituencies and 30 assembly constituencies held on October 30 today.
The Election Commission is set to declare today, the results of by-elections in three parliamentary constituencies and 30 assembly constituencies, held on October 30. The three parliamentary constituencies which went to the polls on October 30 were in the UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. The commission used EVMs and VVPATs in the bye-elections at all polling stations. Electoral Photo Identity cards (EPIC) were the main document of identification of a voter. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, all polling personnel and election officials including the private persons engaged in the election duty were double vaccinated before taking their services.

Northeast by-election results. Counting of votes begins
The counting of votes for the by-elections to the nine Assembly constituencies in the three northeastern states of Assam, Meghalaya, and Mizoram began on Tuesday in the midst of heavy security arrangements and strict COVID-19 protocols, poll officials said.
The by-elections were held in five Assembly seats in Assam, three in Meghalaya, and one in Mizoram.

Himachal by-election results: Counting of votes begins.
Counting of votes for the recently held bye-elections to the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency and three assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh started at 8 am on Tuesday amid tight security arrangements. Twenty-five centers have been set up for counting of votes of the Mandi parliamentary by-poll and Fatehpur, Arki and Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly bye-elections which were held on October 30.

Rajasthan by-election results: Counting underway
The counting of votes of Assembly Bypolls for Rajasthan’s Vallabhnagar (Udaipur) and Dhariawad (Pratapgarh) seats began amid tight security arrangements.
