Bollywood empathizes with Shah Rukh Khan: ‘Painful for a parent’

Bollywood reaches out to Shah Rukh Khan; Hansal Mehta says, ‘Painful for a parent’ as SRK’s son Aryan Khan was detained late Saturday night.

He was held by the Narcotics Control Bureau for questioning after drugs were found on the cruise he was on. Aryan was later arrested along with Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant.

In fact, multiple celebrities have risen up in support of Shah Rukh Khan after his son Aryan Khan got arrested during a recent Narcotics Control Bureau raid. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta is the latest Bollywood personality to openly support the superstar.

SRK’s close friend and former co-star Salman Khan was seen paying a visit to Shah Rukh’s residence Mannat on Sunday night. Aryan Khan was detained late Saturday night by the Narcotics Control Bureau for questioning after drugs were found on the cruise he was on. Aryan was later arrested along with Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant. Khan was held under sections 8C, 20B, 27, and 35 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

He was arrested for 13 grams Of cocaine, 21 grams Of charas, 22 pills of MDMA and 5 grams of MD were also found the Narcotics Control Bureau has said.  The charges brought against Aryan Khan include purchase, possession, and use of banned substances, the agency said. He was also seen in a viral video on social media allegedly shot after the raids.

Aryan Khan was arrested on Sunday with seven others following a raid at a party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai last night by the Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB.

Shah Rukh Khan was seen leaving his home and heading for his lawyer’s office shortly before the arrest was confirmed.

The NCB team boarded the Goa-bound ship disguised as passengers, sources said. According to officials, the party began after the ship left Mumbai and was at sea.

During the operation, the suspects were searched and different drugs were recovered from them, which they had hidden in their clothes, undergarments, and purses, an NCB official told news agency PTI.

“Their statements are being recorded. Based on the facts, arrests will be made and the accused will be produced in the NDPS court,” a senior NCB officer told NDTV.

Aryan Khan had cried during questioning said NCB sources.  They also said that it has been found that Aryan Khan was consuming drugs for four years. He was on drugs even during his UK and Dubai stay.

Meantime, netizens are criticizing the selective silence of Media over 3000 kg of heroin found in Adani’s Port in Gujarat, smuggled through from Afghanistan while Media is making a huge noise over 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams Of charas found in the raid involving SRK’s son.
