Two unidentified militants were killed in Sopore gunfight, mobile internet snapped in police district Sopore, Budgam-Baramulla trains halted.
The militants were killed in an overnight gunfight in Peth Seer in the area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
News agency GNS reported that mobile internet services have been snapped in police district Sopore while train service running between Budgam and Baramulla has also been suspended as precautionary measures.
The conflict broke out late last night after security forces cordoned the area following a tip-off about the presence of militants there.
