According to a recent Lok Poll survey, Indian National Congress is ready to form the next government in Uttrakhand.
A survey showed:
Congress – 35% Vote ( 38-40 seats )
BJP – 33% vote ( 25-27 seats )
AAP – 11% vote ( 2-4 seats )
BSP – 3% vote ( 0-2 seats )
Earlier in January, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pritam Singh chief of Congress in Uttarakhand on addressing a press conference asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state has been “a complete failure” on all issues including businesses, employment and said that the people have decided that Congress government will be formed in 2022 in the next assembly elections.
Party leader Devendra Yadav, who is Congress in charge for Uttarakhand was on a three-day visit to the state in January and met the party office-bearers and workers in Kumaon and Garhwal. He instructed them to build up the Congress party at the booth level.
Devendra Yadav also said the BJP-run Uttarakhand government is facing accusations of corruption, failed the people on all counts, mismanaged the state and he expressed faith about Congress forming government in the state in the next assembly elections.
Of note, the Congress leaders also extended their support to farmers who are protesting against the farm laws on the borders of Delhi.
However, still, Congress INC will need more ground-level work to increase the percentage of votes to ensure a 100% majority, so there is still a lot of work to be done and Congress should not get complacent on hearing this. Rumors are that AAP is projecting a military candidate. In order to win, Congress will need to hit the ground immediately.
