The entire nation is traumatized by the new laws as it unseats the heart of the Consitution of India in its secular framework.  The new laws go against the culture of the island and the rights of the people.

In a nutshell,  here are the changes that are wrecking up the island.

1. Ransacking fishermen’s sheds, (80% live off fishing)
2. Making a new Gooda Law (in lowest crime rates)
3. Imposed beef ban in the 97% Muslim Island.
4. Snatching land of people regardless of ownership
5. Calling people in Island terrorists.
6. Making laws to unlawfully arrest and detail for a year.
7. Zero COVID, since he came 7000 cases of COVID.
8. MP Mohan Delkar, died by suicide, his son alleges Praful Khoda Pate brought on his suicide and this raises questions on his other credentials.
9. The people on the island want him removed.

Politicians, citizens, and celebrities have come out this week against Patel’s proposed reforms for the union territory alleging they go against the culture of the islands. Patel has said his actions are intended for the development of the region but there is nothing in store for development in his actions.

The once COVID-free island now is struggling with 7000 cases and in the midst of this, Administrator Praful Khoda Patel’s actions are only making situations worse and destroying the beautiful peace of the island.
