We often say we are the master of our destiny, and that is true because life is a series of choices. But here, we are talking about things beyond our control, like getting ill, losing a loved one, going through a storm, they come into our lives for a reason and a season, and then leave.
In the natural human periphery, we make good choices and wonders happen, and bad choices and our lives are immersed in negativity, but in the realm of the supernatural, things transpire and unexpectantly enter our lives.
The coronavirus ravaged the world and can any of us say it came for a good reason. None of us can say this. It is a horror that is ravaging the world and mutating into more complex variations. But this too will pass.
While humans can be blamed for creating the virus, mutating it, doing things that made an environment friendly to viruses, the bottom line is things happen, pandemics have been as old as the sun.
Things happen in life to teach us something most times. It is good to learn it quickly and pass through the bad time and come out shining as gold, a better person than we were before the storm.
While we are going through a pandemic together, while it might be uniting many, we also see great divisions, hatred, and violence in these times, racism stalks people like the plague, sometimes we say, it might be worse than Corona! A war is raging between Israel and Palestine and the world could have stopped it but they are watching, but this too will pass. Not after hard lessons are learned because this was a series of choices. It could have been stopped.
In all this, we must know that seasons come and go and the bad days of Corona will be over just as seasons change. Even bad governments fall because every cycle must have its end. This is the rhythm of life. The best thing to do is to be strong, centered, peaceful, and keep doing what you do. Panic, fear, worry, anxiety will only make it terrible and unbearable. Overthinking should have no place in your life because negative thoughts can destroy us. Be patient, pray, meditate, and the bad things will be removed.
For sorrow and loss, all need a touch from the Divine, and it will come. Our connection to the Creator releases that healing from pain, loss, loneliness, sadness, and sickness. Presence changes all things.
There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, this is always the dawn after the night, the rainbow after the storm, the warm delightful spring after a harsh winter, so we have to just know deep within ourselves that the tough times will pass.
The power of belief in the matter pulls us through the darkest tunnel and we come out of it shining and beaming with joy eventually because every situation we face in life has the powerful potential to transform us and things around us.
Nothing lasts forever – not even your troubles.” ― Arnold H. Glasow
In the middle of stinging sorrow
Things happened to soften the morrow
Met wonderful people, did new things
As jewels form under pressure
Deeper life formed under the 2020 horror
Faith, hope love replaced the pain
Though we lost, we also did gain!
After that we were never the same
