An alarming rise in the total number of coronavirus cases rose to 1,09,04,940. The death toll increased to 1,55,642 with 92 daily new fatalities.
In the last 24 hours, 92 people succumbed to the noxious virus while 11,106 were discharged from hospitals, according to the Union Health Ministry. They also record that India’s tally of Covid-19 cases exceeded 1.09 crore with 12,194 new infections, while the daily fatalities were noted below 100 for the eighth time this month.
Now, in India, the active number of coronavirus cases stands at 1,37,567.
1,06,11,731 people have recuperated so far, pushing the national recovery rate to 97.31%, according to Union Health Ministry data on Sunday.
The death toll stands at 1,55,642. The total vaccinations are 82,63,858.
