Flute: Two peace envoys have been killed in an attack on UN peacekeepers in MINUSCA, Central African Republic (CAR).
Minusca reported this on Twitter. Allied armed groups were ambushed on Monday in Bangassou in the southern province of Mbomou, stated this in a tweet. The attack killed two peacekeepers, Gabonese and Moroccan.
Minusca’s Twitter handle states, “Two peacekeepers @UN_CAR were killed on Monday near the town of Bangassou, in the south of the country. The head of MINUSCAFlag of United Nations @ndiayemankeur condemns a cowardly attack on peacekeepers.”
