Hyderabad: In a demonstration of human brotherhood, a Muslim constable walked a sick woman on his back about 6 k.m to the famous temple of tirumala hills in AP, near Rajampet in Chittor district. She was then hospitalized.

According to reports, 58-year-old pilgrim Nageshwar was on her way to Anamairamgam to visit the Temple of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. She fainted due to high BP on the way. The old lady was waiting for help when a constable from the Special Police, identified as Sheikh Arshad, arrived.

Constable Arshad was on duty on this hill. With no other means to take the sick woman to the heights, Arshad carried the frail sick woman on his back and took to a private hospital in Rajampet by walking 6 k.m.

The constable’s move has been praised by the DGP Gautam Swang. He said that this move of the constable will inspire many. This is going to create passion among the people for their duty.
