Baghpat: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sakshi Maharaj has demanded the Union government here Friday to immediately end the minority status of Muslims.
He told the reporters that, at present, there is more population of Muslims in India than that of Pakistan. He said that the population of Pakistan is 32 crores whereas the population of Muslims in India has reached 20 crores which is a matter of concern.
To resolve this issue, the Central Government should immediately abolish the minority status of Muslims. BJP MP was quoted this saying in Baghpat where he was attending an event on Friday. He said that area in the country is decreasing and the population is increasing.
Attacking political parties on farmers’ issue, he said, ‘the government is ready to talk about the farm laws.’ He also lashed out at the Congress and said that the party can go to the Supreme Court on Ram Temple.
The Congress and other political parties should also go to the Supreme Court for farm laws, but to find their political land, innocent farmers are being misused and misled. He said that the political parties are shootign guns on the shoulders of farmers.
