Congress party said the party workers would stand at the Tehsil level across the country and stand with the farmers to mark the event and to make the Bharat Bandh of farmers successful
New Delhi: The Congress has said that the party will support Bharat Bandh (pan-India strike) on 8 December in protest against the new farm laws and its workers will work to make it successful.
Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda said at a press conference here on Sunday that party workers would stand at the Tehsil level across the country and stand with the farmers to mark the event and to make the Bharat Bandh of farmers successful.
He said that the Congress stands with the farmers and would protest with the farmers at the headquarters, district headquarters, and tehsil headquarters of all the states against any injustice occurring to them and would do their utmost to make the Bharat Bandh a success.
