Donald Trump has been angry with many media institutions, including ‘Fox News’, for having presented Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden as elected president even before the official announcement of the election results.

Washington: US President Donald Trump is deeply disappointed in the election debacle and is considering a plan to establish a new digital media company after his term ends.

Mr. Trump has been angry with many media institutions, including Fox News, for presenting Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden as elected president even before the official announcement of the election results. US news website Axios gave this information in a report on Thursday, citing the officials associated with it.

Donald Trump is considering setting up a new digital media company instead of opening the expensive cable television channel. Trump wants to draw supporters of Fox News through new online media platforms.

Mr. Trump and his advisors and family members have not yet commented on setting up a new media institution. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement that there would be no problem in the transfer of power after the election and it would go smoothly under the process.

Significantly, several Republican party leaders have accused Fox News of biased reporting of the presidential election. Although the presidential election result has not been officially announced in the US, Democratic candidate Joe Biden has won according to all the top media institutions.

Mr. Biden has surpassed the magic figure of 270 electoral votes to become America’s next president. President Donald Trump also claimed his victory in the election, saying that it will now be decided by the court.
