The Election Commission on Thursday submitted the list of newly elected MLAs of the 17th Assembly to the Governor. After that, the notification has been issued.
The formalities for dissolving the 16th Assembly were completed in the cabinet meeting today and the recommendation was sent to the Governor. After the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Mr. Kumar has sought an appointment with the Governor. He went to Raj Bhavan at 4:45 p.m, met Governor Fagu Chauhan, and submitted his resignation to him.
Earlier today, a meeting was held with the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (VIP) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (Ham), the four constituents of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), at the official residence of Chief Minister Mr. Kumar, on November 15.
It was decided to call a meeting of the NDA Legislature Party at 12:30 pm. In this meeting, the stamp will be signed in the name of Mr. Nitish Kumar as the Chief Minister and the roadmap of the government will be decided.
