Patna: When the counting of votes for the Bihar assembly elections starts at eight o’clock morning, not only the leaders but also the hearts of common people would start beating.
After the three-phase election for the 243-member Bihar Legislative Assembly, whose government will be formed – either Nitish Kumar or Shri Tejashwi Prasad Yadav – not only the leaders but the people of the state are eagerly waiting for it.
Along with the Legislative Assembly, the votes of the Valmikinagar parliamentary by-election will also be counted today.
Chief Electoral Officer HR Srinivas told here on Monday that all the necessary preparations for counting of votes have been completed.
The counting of votes will begin at 8 a.m tomorrow at 55 counting centers set up in all 38 districts of the state. Ballot papers will be counted first. After that, the counting of votes of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will begin.
