The Rajasthan government is to conduct the REET exams to enable jobs for teachers and also work on solving problems of teachers.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tweeted in Hindi:   “In the year 2022, it has been decided to conduct the REET exam on May 14-15, so that the state will be able to get about 20,000 new teachers. Provision will also be made for special teachers in this recruitment. This will provide new employment opportunities to the youth.

In a second tweet he wrote:  “Along with this, instructions have been given to prepare an action plan in a time-bound manner to solve the problems of para teachers, education workers, madrassa para teachers, and panchayat assistants keeping in mind the decisions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

While the Gehlot government did not accept the demand to increase the number of posts to 50 thousand in REET-2021, 20 thousand teachers will be recruited under REET-2022. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has tweeted that in the year 2022, it has been decided to conduct REET on 14-15 May. With this, the state will be able to get about 20 thousand new teachers. Provision will also be made for special teachers in this recruitment. This will provide new employment opportunities to the youth.

Under REET-2021, the Gehlot government will recruit 31 thousand teachers, but in Rajasthan, more than 50 thousand posts of teachers of grade III are running vacant. This is the reason that for a long time the youth have been demanding to increase the number of posts in unemployed recruitment to 50 thousand. The unemployed had also run a trend on Twitter in the past.

Important Decisions Taken in the Evening Meeting

Several decisions were taken in the meeting of the Education Department held on Thursday evening at the Chief Minister’s residence. The Chief Minister said that there is good feedback among the people about Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools being opened to provide education in English medium to the children of the state. Efforts should be made to make these schools even better. Also, analyze in which areas more number of these schools can be opened depending on the need. Teachers having the ability to teach in English will be appointed in these schools. For this, proper arrangements will be made in the recruitments.

All in all, these are steps that will work well to bolster employment for teachers and solve the problems of para teachers, education workers, madrassa para teachers, and panchayat assistants.
