JD(U) MP Mahendra Prasad passes away in Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, after a prolonged illness on Monday, according to the party sources.
JD(U) MP Mahendra Prasad, 81-year-old, breathed his last at Apollo Hospital in the capital. Due to illness, he did not attend the proceedings of the winter session of Parliament.
He was a well-known social worker and had earned a reputation in the pharmaceutical industry. Party leaders have voiced condolences on the demise of the MP.
