Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Lucknow on October 5 to inaugurate the three days long Amrit Mahotsav.
The event is organized by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Official sources here on Thursday said PM will inaugurate ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ being celebrated to commemorate 75th year of independence on October 5 at Indira Gandhi Prathisthan in Gomti Nagar area of the state capital.
During the event, the Prime Minister will hand over keys to the beneficiaries of the Urban PM AWAS scheme. UP governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would be present in the function along with the union minister for urban development, Hardeep Singh Puri.
This program based on the theme ‘Changing Urban Environment’ is to be held from October 5 to 7. This occasion will display the development in all the cities of the state through the exhibition in the program.
